Building a group in technical & compliance services for buildings
We buy established businesses that inspect, maintain and service the critical infrastructure inside commercial and industrial buildings
Contact usWhat we're building
One group, built from excellent independents.
Every commercial and industrial building has equipment that must be inspected and maintained by law. Most of it is looked after by small independent firms, each excellent at one thing, each built by someone who cared about doing it properly.
We are bringing a handful of those firms together, so that each has more behind it than it could build alone. Each keeps its name, its people and its local relationships.
What we're looking for
Service contracts at the core.
We acquire UK businesses built on service and maintenance contracts — planned maintenance (PPM), statutory inspection and 24/7 reactive callouts — supported by remedials, installation and commissioning.
Services
Industrial doors, roller shutters, automatic doors, loading bay, dock equipment, gates, barriers and perimeter security, racking and adjacent statutory inspection work.
Scale
Typically £1m–£10m turnover. Team, culture and reputation matter as much as the numbers.
Accreditation
DHF membership and SSIP accreditation — CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor or equivalent. ISO 9001 a plus.
Engineers
Directly employed mobile engineers, not a subcontract model. The team is most of what we are buying.
A different type of buyer
We do what we say we will do.
We are the buyer
There is no fund behind us who decides your outcome. You are dealing with the people who make the decision.
A straightforward process
We set clear expectations, move at pace, and complete on the terms presented. No price chipping.
We have sat in your seat
Our family built and sold an industrial services group through a strategy of successive acquisitions. We know what continuity actually means, and what the year after a sale feels like.

Succession
How we structure a deal.
Every owner's situation is different, but our structure is consistent. It has three parts, and we are clear about them from the first conversation.
Cash on completion
The majority is paid on day one, in cash, from our own funds. No financing condition, no lender approval.
Deferred consideration
A portion paid over the following two to three years on fixed terms agreed up front. Not an earn-out, not linked to performance you no longer control.
A stake in what comes next
A portion can be reinvested as a stake in the group your business joins, so that the people who built these businesses share in what they become.
